Our Story

          Hi, I'm Drew Stotts, owner/operator of Z Blast Co.          

 

          In 1992, My dad, Doug Stotts founded his mobile sandblasting company Zanesville Blasting. For 26 years, Zanesville Blasting was the standard for the “Professional Stripper” industry in Ohio, as well as parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana. For years, Zanesville Blasting was one of, if not the only mobile sandblasting and painting companies in the area. The quality and effort he put into the company’s work combined with the level of care and respect he had for his clientele was what made Zanesville Blasting thrive for more than 25 years. 

 

          Naturally, from a very young age I grew up around the business and the sandblasting trade. Working for the company throughout the years, I was fortunate enough to acquire the skills and knowledge about the industry and learn from my dad the importance of integrity, a good work ethic, and taking care of employees and clients.

 

          In 2018, Doug passed away suddenly, leaving behind a business, an impact, and a legacy that is still felt and remembered to this day. 

 

         In January of 2025 I was able to revive what my dad had created. Under the name Z Blast Co., I am proud to carry on my father's legacy and work hard to provide the excellent service and genuine care that his business was built on.
